MISSION STATEMENT

Comfort Control aspires to be the leader in the TAB and Commissioning industry and related disciplines. It is our desire to have all of our technicians qualified by NEBB and/or TABB. Comfort Control will continuously strive toward customer satisfaction through accurate reporting and documentation.

Management

The administration of Comfort Control, Inc. includes personnel with collectively over one hundred and ten years of experience in the testing and certification of indoor building environments.

President, CEO - Robert B. Gawne, Sr.

Mr. Gawne started Comfort Control, Inc. in 1966. A graudate of Notre Dame, he is one of the founnding fathers of NEBB and has served on the NEBB Board of Directors. Mr. Gawne is currently serving on the State HVAC Board and is a NEBB Certified Professional in the disciplines of Air Balance, Water Balance and Building Systems Commissioning. In addition, throughout the years, he has served on a number of NEBB Committees and is a Past NEBB President who remains very active in the NEBB Association at the Local and National Levels.

Vice President, Marketing- Michael P. Moran

Mr. Moran attended Buffalo State University and is a graudate of the Sheet Metal Local 100 Training School. He has thirty years industry experience. Twenty eight have been with Comfort Control, Inc. with sixteen of those as the Head Estimator. He has prior installation construction experience and is a project manager on various retrofit projects for Comfort Control, Inc.

Superintendent - Darren R. Aley

Mr. Aley has over twenty years of experience in the HVAC field, including testing and balancing experience. He is a NEBB Certified Professional in the disciplines of Air Balance and Water Balance and is a graduate of the Sheet Metal Local 100 Training School. Darren is also certified in Universal Refrigeration and is studying for his Maryland Masters Certification as well as his NEBB Supervisor Certification. He has also managed several projects for Comfort Control, Inc. including Federal Triangle, US Customs, EPA, IRS and National Archives.

Vice President, Administration and Finance - Kathleen G. Bigelow

Mrs. Bigelow graduated from the College of Notre Dame of Maryland with a BA degree in English and a minor in Business and has been with Comfort Control for over twenty years. Prior to her employment with Comfort Control, Inc., Mrs. Bigelow worked with other construction firms in the Baltimore and Metropolitan Washington, DC areas, law firms in Delaware and North Carolina, and the various areas of the banking industry. Her experience has proven invaluable in managing the Administrative/Accounting aspect of the Comfort Control Offices.

Vice President, Raleigh Division/International Projects - Gilbert Przybylski

Mr. Przybylski has over thirty five years of testing and balancing experience, thirteen with Comfort Control, Inc. He is a NEBB Certified Professional, TABB Certified Supervisor, and certified National Energy Management Institute (NEMI) technician and instructor. Mr. Przybylski was previously an AABC test and balance engineer before joining a NEBB firm. He also taught testing and balancing at the Sheet Metal Local 100 and Sheet Metal Local 5 Apprenticeship Schools. Mr. Przbylski also manages all International Projects with over 25 years of overseas experience.
